After the success of our first short, evening CPD session for teachers, we’ve been busy planning the next talks in the series. So we’re pleased to announce three talks all taking place at iconic Bristol locations in March.
Each talk aims to top up teachers’s knowledge of tricky curriculum topics while also linking to the city’s culturally relevant links. And to do this we have some fantastic speakers lined up.
In every 1.5 hour session an inspirational speaker will connect the big ideas of science with the region’s local history and culture. Then we have local educators providing top tips for teaching the tricky topic, and how to fit in with Ofsted’s broad and balanced curriculum.
Then, we’ve allowed a bit of time for chit-chat – the teachers at our first event really valued having time to quiz the speakers at the end. You can read about the first event here.
Please print off copies of the Curiosity Boosters School Poster and circulate in your schools.
You can find more information about each event and book on at the links below:

- Space (was at Blaise Castle, but has been relocated to M Shed!)
It’s FREE, so sign up soon and we’ll order in some light refreshments!
All these CPD events are sponsored by STEM Learning.
