Introduce your pupils to the fascinating world of geology at Rock On!
On 10th – 13th March 2020 Bristol Museum are hosting activities investigating how rocks and soils are made.
In 90 minute sessions, children in Years 3 – 6 will:
- Meet university experts
- Discover what a geologist does
- Identify types of rocks and discuss their uses
- Rotate through four activities to find out how are rocks and soils are formed
- Ask questions about volcanoes and earthquakes
Then the rest of Bristol Museum’s geology gallery will be open for their exploration!
