Students can become a space cadet and complete missions on the Astro Science Challenge App.
For children ages 7-11, the FREE app is designed to inspire students in the STEM subjects through a space adventure that’s mapped against the KS2 curriculum.
Schools, home educators and families, are all encouraged to enrol their children into the online space academy and track their progress as a Team Leader.
And there’s additional team leader resources, including power point presentations and activity plans – for any teachers out there wanting to incorporate a mission or two into their lessons.
The app was developed by the Unlimited Space agency in collaboration with multiple UK Science partners and professional teachers.
Tim Peake said: “The Unlimited Space Agency is great. Their approach to inspiring children about science is rigorous, fun and it works! I’m proud to serve with them on their mission to inspire the next generation of scientists and space explorers.”
