Visit Concorde to inspire your pupils

It’s 50 years since Concorde’s first flight, and the folks at Aerospace Bristol have taken this opportunity to launch new educational workshops tailored to different ages.

Both the Key Stage 1 – Concorde Investigators, and the Key Stage 2 – Concorde Innovators programmes, are linked to the history and D&T curriculum. Your pupils will learn all about the historic airliner, before being challenged to design their own aircraft.

Key Stage 1: The Right StuffOne year two teacher commented, “The session was pitched very well for year two, with friendly staff leading the session and lots of hands-on experiences.”

You can find out more about Aerospace Bristol’s other school workshops on their website – there’s also programmes for Early Years Foundation Stage!

You can also email learning@aerospacebristol.org for more information and to book.
