Get hands on with meteroites at Bristol Rocks this weekend

Geologists are taking over Bristol Museum & Art Gallery for the day with loads of activities for the whole family.

This year Bristol Rocks is looking out of this world to celebrate 50 years since the lunar landings. Explore some amazing aspects of our moon and handle real meteorites.

Saturday 6th April 2019, 11am—4pm

Drop in any time during the day for storytelling, dressing up, geological handling, ‘bring in your fossil finds’, store tours, talks, craft and drawing activities, meet the expert as well as science stands from the University of Bristol and other specialist groups.

Rocks, fossils and minerals can tell us the most amazing things about our planet… and they look pretty stunning too – so go along, and find out more for free!

Find out more about the talks and tours going on here.
