We’ve been working away to find the right people for the Curiosity Connections Conference, and are excited to announce the speakers and workshop leaders we have lined up for you all in February!
Our keynote, opening the conference at 10am on Feb 2nd is leader of the Primary Science Campaign at the Wellcome Trust – Louise Stubberfield. She’ll give us an insight into the state of primary science as well as some snippets of Explorify’s best loved activities.
Workshops
Bristol local presenter and pyrotechnician – Matthew Tosh will be running a workshop on building confidence in classroom science communication. And we’ve also managed to book him in to close the day up with some Tosh-style sparkle and excitement.
The team from Whizz Bang Pop Magazine are collaborating with Bristol teacher and Primary Quality Science Mark Award Winner – Charlotte Thomas to show us all some fab ways to incorporate science into the primary literacy and numeracy based curriculum.
Then for the lighting up imaginations – careers in primary school session the amazing Liz Lister from the West England STEM ambassador hub, will be working with a team from the University of the West of England’s, Department of Education and Childhood Studies.
