Have a peek at scientists’ answers to students questions

I’m a Scientist is an online activity where school students connect with scientists. It’s an X Factor-style competition between scientists, where students are the judges.

Students challenge the scientists over fast-paced online text-based live CHATs. They ASK the scientists anything they want, and VOTE for their favourite scientist to win a prize of £500 to communicate their work with the public.

And I’m a scientist is on RIGHT NOW! So why not send your students to the I’m a scientist website to check out what questions are being asked.

This week there are loads of zones including:

  • Memory Zone — a psychology zone
  • Epidemic Zone
  • Fast Computing Zone
  • Sleep Zone
  • Sustainability Zone — specifically for primary schools
  • General Science Zones

And if you get inspired to sign up to I’m a Scientist’s event in March, just hold your horses, we’ll have information up about that very soon….
