Free FUTURES Research Fair for schools – 28th Sept 2018, We The Curious

FUTURES: Create. Imagine. Explore

The activities will be suitable for Yr 5-9s. Students will explore demonstrations of ultrasonic levitation, see robotics at work and find out how blood sucking insects are helping researchers with their work! Some funding is available for school travel.

Friday 28 September 2018, 9.45am – 11.45am OR 12.30pm – 2.30pm,

We The Curious (top floor, separate to permanent exhibitions)

Featuring researchers from across the region, in Arts and Social Sciences to Engineering and Science, come along to the free FUTURES Research Fair at We The Curious as part of the Europe-wide programme “European Researchers’ Night”. With hands-on activities and demos by real researchers, this event is a chance for your students to meet researchers and discover more about cutting-edge research, its place in society and the possibilities of careers in research.
