This conference, on 30th June 2017 and hosted by the University of Bristol, will provide teachers from all phases of education the chance to learn about current research and outstanding practice in ensuring progression in science. It is an opportunity for leaders and teachers of science from key stage 2 to key stage 5 to consider how we can develop our practice so that pupils are inspired to develop their understanding and carry on asking questions about the world around them.
The day will be introduced by Marvin Rees, Mayor of Bristol, and will start with a keynote from Matthew Newberry, Science Lead for Ofsted. Workshops will include topics that touch on every transition point from KS1 to KS5.
The cost is £70 per person, and there is a £20 discount for anyone who books before the end of May.
