Bee Bot Ahoy!

Bee Bots – have a look around most primary schools and you might find that you have access to one – they are great as a starting point for teaching control, directional language and programming at KS1. So why not make use of that wonderful resource with this fun and free pirate-themed Bee Bot map from Early Learning HQ, also available on the STEM Learning online resource library.

For an introduction to programming with Bee Bots, take a look at this Bee-Bots-1-2-3-Activity. This is one of the many activities available from Barefoot Computing. The Barefoot project was established in 2014 to help primary school teachers in England get ready for the new computing curriculum. You need to register to be able to access all the resources, but this is free.
